Eric Kunstadt
President of Kunstadt Sports, Eric believes that the strength of Kunstadt Sports lies in the fact that its owners are active on the floor and in the shop. Eric is most frequently to be found in the Kanata store. A committed athlete, Eric's best free-time moments are on the slope or on his bike.

Ron Kunstadt
Vice-President of Kunstadt Sports, Ron is involved in all executive decision-making. In the Ottawa Masters Alpine Ski Racing, he is the one that the most competitive racers strive to beat.
Ron is the chief moving force in the hugely successful annual Kunstadt Open tennis tournaments.

Monica Kunstadt - Landon
Monica is a member of Kunstadt Sports Executive Management Team. Generally, Monica assumes the role of President any time Eric Kunstadt is absent. Monica is a graduate of Queen’s University and a Physical Education teacher.
She is quite an athlete, a competitive volleyball and rugby player and an excellent skier and tennis player. She is happily married to Jonathon Landon who recently retired from the Toronto Argonauts.

Peter Kunstadt
Member of Senior Management of Kunstadt Sports, Pete is involved in most aspects of the business. Usually working at the Kanata store, he is concerned with general administration and marketing, e-commerce, web site management as well as helping customers on the floor.
An avid skier and downhill racer, Pete tries hard to keep up to his sons, Eric and Ron, on the slopes, tennis courts and bike trails.

Imad El Ghazal
Imad was one of the founding employees of Kunstadt Sports. His history with the Kunstadt family started decades ago, when Eric Kunstadt discovered him while working at a sporting good s rental place at bank Street. There was an interim period when Imad left Kunstadt Sports to manage a large chain operation and gain valuable experience. He is now in charge of operations at all Kunstadt Sports locations.

Sarah Murray
Sarah, our Manager at the Kanata store, is one of the most energetic individuals we have ever had the privilege to meet. Her extensive experience in sports retail combined with intimate product knowledge and active sporting life add up to ideal credentials for a successful store manager. In the winter, Sarah enjoys skiing and snowboarding, in the summer, she can often be seen on her road bike.

Jeff Hare
Jeff is our manager at the Kanata store. He the seasoned experienced individual you always wish to meet when you visit a sports retail store. In addition to his dozen or so years in sports retail, he has the demeanor of a true gentleman. He is a family man and his hobbies include skiing and potentially biking.

Adam Stapley
Adam is a manager at our Bank Street store. He is young and enthusiastic, an avid tennis and golf player in the summer and an accomplished skier in the winter.
You will enjoy his friendly, energetic, yet relaxed mannerism and thorough knowledge of sports and related equipment.

Nick Matjasko
Nick has come a long way since he joined Kunstadt Sports. In fact, if there were a contest for the most improved employee, Nick would win it hands down. Nick is now the Assistant Manager at the Kanata store, performing the receiving and inventory functions and using his superb computer skills to act as a "one man IT department". That's a lot of tasks in addition to supervising sales staff, serving customers, repairing bicycles and supervising warehousing.
We all feel Nick has a bright future with Kunstadt Sports.

Joe Tavenier
Young Joe is one of our managers at the Bank Street store. He is a graduate of Algonquin College’s Business Programme. Joe is an accomplished snowboarder who has recently also ventured into the world of skiing. In the summer, he can frequently be seen riding his road bike.

Alain Bedard
Alain is in the middle of the Bedard brothers family. He can be found on the retail floor of our Kanata store charming customers with his hepful style. He is an avid snowboarder, skier and cross-country motorbiker.

Mike Plummer
Quite possibly the best bike man in Eastern Ontario (or even the world) Mike is the mainstay
of the Kanata shop. Mike provides key technical support in many biking events in the National Capital Region. Mike's spare time is usually spent on his own bike.

Gaetan Seguin
Gaetan is one of Kunstadt Sports' most experienced technicians, completely conversant in bicycles and skis alike. He is a former Canadian Ski Jumping National Team member and an awesome downhill skier. In his spare time, Gaetan enjoys his motor boat and fishing.

Keith McGibbon
Keith has been in sports retail for a few years now. He has the authoritative yet friendly demeanor on the shop floor. He is an experienced skier and snowboarder, teaching with a local ski school. He is also a keen biker, riding both mountain and road bicycles.

Dave Banning
Dave has been with us in the capacity of Senior Mechanic for a number of years. He has now reduced his activities to part time to allow him to pursue his other careers. Dave's extensive experience as ski racer and a ski instructor, his familiarity with all sports and his mechanical aptitude are definitely great assets.

Alex Heron
Alex is one of our full-time mechanics with several years of experience in bicycle, ski and general sports service. As community service, he assists the Army Reserves as a vehicle mechanic. In his spare time, he bikes and rides off-road trucks.

Shawn Banfield
Shawn is the undisputed expert on ski equipment. As the senior coach at
Camp Fortune and an accomplished Masters' racer, Shawn is in the position to assist the most advanced skiers and racers, as well as beginners and intermediates.

Justin Kirkup
Justin is a full time mechanic at our Kanata store. He recently graduated from high school and his future plans include the study of masonry. In his free time, Justin enjoys downhill and cross-country biking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.

Rachel Cruickshank
Rachel is our tennis expert working at the Bank Street and OTLBC stores. She has been playing tennis since the tender age of 7, now she is nationally ranked for NCAA and she also plays on the professional ITF circuit. Needless to say, Rachel makes an appearance at most Kunstadt Open Tennis Tournaments. Rachel is on full tennis scholarship at the Central Florida College.

Jeremy Tremblay
Jeremy is a young snowboarder taking care of customers on the shop floor of our Kanata store. When not in the store, Jeremy attends local high school. In his past, he was an accomplished soccer player, but he abandoned the sport (too much pressure…), so he just bikes in the summer and waits for the snow to return so he could snowboard again.

EvanTaylor
Evan is a multi-talented young man. He studies law at Carleton University, works in our Bank Street store as ski and bicycle mechanic as well as serving customers on the shop floor. Evan is also an accomplished athlete. He is a mountain and road bicycle competitor, competes in Duathlon Sprint Series, does SOLO II racing and, believe it or not, also does rock climbing... Additionally, his refined inter-personal; skills make him a valuable all-round staff member.

Nick Bell
Nick has started as a co-op student practicing at Kunstadt Sports. He is considered talented enough to be taken on as part-time store clerk at our Kanata store.

Blair McNaughton
Blair is a young shop clerk with a great potential. His pleasant and professional demeanor will surely be a great asset in his future endeavours. In his spare time, Blair enjoys snowboarding and hockey. He also plays rugby on his South Carleton High School Team.

Matt Bedard
Matt is the youngest member of the Kunstadt Sports Bedard dynasty. Under the supervision of big brother JP, Matt is making good progress toward becoming a star mechanic

Joe Graham
Joe has started with Kunstadt Sports as a Co-op student. He impressed us enough to be offered a position. Today, he has a full-time position in our Bank Street store. Joe is a tennis player and a mountain / BMX biker. In his high school days, he played a mean game of rugby. We are now making efforts to get Joe to join in some winter sports, as well.

Lauren Golding
You will find Lauren at the Kanata store serving customers in her inimitably charming style. Lauren is a Nursing student at Ottawa University, whose athletic specialty is long distance running. In the winter, she is an avid snowboarder. When asked what her other hobbies are, she said “Work, study and sleep or going out with friends”. We think the second option is more appealing.
