Racers of all abilities are welcome at any event. Most of the racing is done weeknights. Some races occur on weekends and there are a handful of special events throughout the season.

injured skiers from an accident site to the end of a trail or the bottom
of a hill.
The CSPS is a not-for-profit organization of over 6000 volunteers across
Canada. They are enthusiastic out-door oriented men and women over the
age of 18 who promote safe skiing and boarding and provide top-quality
first-aid services to injured skiers and boarders. They can promise you an

| Glen Cairn Tennis Club |
The Kunstadts have been members of the Glen Cairn Tennis Club ever since their arrival in the Ottawa area in 1978. This is where young Eric and Ronnie have received their first lessons from the tennis legend of the time, Vic Hossack.
The club is run by volunteers. There are lessons available for adults and children. Every Monday and Thursday nights, there is an organized round robin for all levels of players. The club hosts a number of social events throughout the summer season. Competitive tennis players have an opportunity to participate in a number of leagues of various levels and for a variety of age groups.
The Glen Cairn Tennis Club is the venue of the now famous Kunstadt Open Tennis Tournament in August. This tournament attracts some of the best tennis players this area has ever seen.
The club is located in Kanata, south of Hazeldean Rd., and north of Abbeyhill Rd., just off Castlefrank Rd. near the Glen Cairn Library and Pool, in sight of the Jack Charron arena.

The National Capital Division is related to Alpine Canada and the National Alpine Ski
Team. As the Ontario arm, it works closely with the Outaouais Ski Zone to run
competitive alpine skiing for the National Capital region.
It's no secret that the Kunstadt family are passionate about ski racing. Both Eric
and Ron Kunstadt grew up racing in the programs of the National Capital Division and,
at one time, Peter Kunstadt coached.
Kunstadt Sports awards a trophy to the Juvenile girl and Juvenile boy who win the slalom event
in the annual National Capital Division/Outaouais Ski Zone Championship Weekend. Together with the clubs of the Outaouais Ski Zone, the Division manages the NCO Alpine Ski Team. These are the young athletes who may one day be skiing for Canada at the Olympics
or the World Cup.
This year's NCO Team Auction will be held Saturday, October 26 at 7:30. If you attend, you can get a
head start on your Christmas Shopping, or walk away with some neat purchases at very good
value. And admission is only $5.00.
The auction is not limited to ski (or even Winter) things. Among the items on the block you will
find a Rolling Stones Tour Package, many gift certificates and some neat extras like a Fitness Evaluation.
